Know more about your Tutor

Who could ever think that I could be a Mathematics Tutor with students that have gone ahead to score A’s in their mathematics in the National Examination Council (NECO) and West African Examinations Council (WAEC) examinations and many more still in the works?

I mean, I had it a bit rough with some parts of Mathematics back in secondary school.

Not that I wasn’t good at it, but I was drawn to and became good at a few topics (which was not enough to get me through mathematics in my first WAEC) than others.

This is a great space to write a long text about your company and your services. You can use this space to go into a little more detail about your company. Talk about your team and what services you provide. Tell your visitors the story of how you came up with the idea for your business and what makes you different from your competitors. Make your company stand out and show your visitors who you are.

The Push

The things that will keep you going

The ones I didn’t like, I didn’t push myself in. I naturally felt those ones were difficult, until my dad got me this private mathematics tutor that changed all that narrative.

He broke Bearing, Calculus, Matrix, Graphs, Trigonometry, Coordinate Geometry (the topics I struggled with) down so well, that they became like child’s play, so much so that I began to search out questions on these topics in order to prove my mettle at solving them.

This was how I became an all-round guru at mathematics, and proceeded to score an A in my second attempt at WAEC Mathematics.

I inspired my newfound belief about the simplicity of mathematics into my cousin - Yeside and my friend – Bode, both of whom had erstwhile struggled with passing their mathematics at WAEC level, and they also scored an “A” and a “C” respectively at their next attempt.

You see, mathematics is more about perception, more than the knowledge itself.  I went on to score 70+ in my JAMB mathematics, 86 (highest in the faculty) in first year college mathematics from studying my dream course – Economics, a purely mathematical course, and finishing in the upper credit class.
